Command Plugin Defaults configure the default settings on a command's edit window to be as you specify. When you first open Modeling and execute the command, the edit window for that command will be populated with the settings that were specified using Command Plugin Defaults .
1 . Home > Project Settings > Job > Plugin Defaults > Command Plugin Defaults .
2 . The Select Plugin Setup dialog opens. On it is a selection list of commands that have a setup window. Double-click one of the commands on the list.

These are commands with setup windows that are installed with SDS2. Since these are plugins, additional commands may be available to you to set up. Also, not all plugin-based commands have setup windows. |
3 . A setup window opens for the command that you double-clicked in step 2. Make the setup choices you want to be applied to the window, then press " OK " to close the window.
4 . The next time you open Modeling and invoke the command that you just set up, that command's edit window will, by default, be populated with the setup choices you made in step 3.
Default behavior for subsequent invocations of a command within a Modeling session is dependent on the plugin's programmer. Typical behavior is for the edit window for a command to use the last-entered settings as the defaults for each subsequent invocation of that command within a Modeling session, then to use Command Plugin Defaults for the first time a command is run in a subsequent Modeling session.
Also see: You can use the Plugin Manager utility to copy a command plugin from the plugins folder to the plugins folder in your current Job . Doing this ensures that the same plugin will be used throughout the development of your current Job. If you do not do this, the plugin used in your current Job may be overwritten the next time new versions of SDS2 programs are installed .
